Private 2-hour intro to fundamentals for women new to shooting. You’ll be hands-on with the gun, applying learnings immediately on the range so you can progress at a faster pace.

Safety brief, review of four gun safety rules and range protocol. Demonstration and practice of basic gun handling skills including loading and unloading a handgun.

Introduction to shooting fundamentals including stance, grip, target focused aiming, trigger press, follow through and recovery. You’ll understand and build confidence in how to operate your gun.

You’ll run live fire drills to train your index and manage your gun effectively so you can shoot multiple rounds accurately with some speed and accountability at distances of 5 to 10 yards.

FAQs
How long is the class?
Two hours. Class begins with a review of gun safety and range etiquette and then moves immediately to the range for an experiential learning experience.
Do I need a pistol?
Yes, you must have your own semi-auto pistol to attend this class.
Should I bring ammo?
You will need a minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition. More is better. Contact me for recommendations to purchase bulk.
What gear do I need?
Please bring a speed loader (I recommend Uplula), electronic ear protection and eye protection.
Where are classes held?
The one-hour private class is held at Philadelphia Training Academy (PTA), located in South Philadelphia’s Italian Market, at 831 Ellsworth Street.
What is the cost?
This one-hour experiential class is $175. This includes range fee.
