Helene Cavalli, Owner/Instructor, Veretie
About Veretie
Veretie offers firearms training designed by a woman for women shooters who want to learn how to run their guns. I apply a principle-based approach to teaching pistol shooting fundamentals that allows students to develop an understanding of what’s happening, use their target as a diagnostic, and then adjust and adapt their skills. My classes focus heavily on stance, grip and vision for fast target acquisition and getting the gun to behave consistently, so you can shoot with speed and accuracy. Depending on how far you want to take your training, I also conduct more challenging outdoor training offering 180° of mobility, where you’ll learn to draw your pistol from a holster, reloads and clearing malfunctions. You’ll shoot on the move and engage multiple targets at various distances and angles. You’ll be pushed to shoot with urgency under time constraints. You’ll understand how to adjust the way you engage targets, applying different levels of confirmation, based on your skill level and the size, distance and risk associated with a target.
