Two-hour class covering gun safety, range etiquette. fundamentals, and considerations for pistol selection, like caliber, platform, handgun size, safeties, and sighting system.

Working 1:1, you’ll be guided shooting a variety of pistols, including G19, G43x, S&W M&P 2.0 Compact, Sig Sauer P365, Ruger Mark IV and S&W J Frame.

Working in a realistic, outdoor environment, you’ll be hands-on shooting 100 rounds running basic marksmanship drills, getting familiar with gun handling and fundamentals.

You’ll gain practical experience and come away with a clear, no-nonsense breakdown of the training, skill mastery and financial realities of ownership and CCW responsibilities.

FAQs
How long is the class?
This 2-hour private class starts with a review of gun safety and moves immediately to the range.
Do I need my own gun?
No, I will provide a selection of handguns for you to try, including 9mm, .22 and .38 caliber.
Should I bring ammo?
Do not bring any ammunition. One hundred twenty-five rounds of ammo are included in cost.
What gear do I need?
No gear is needed. Electronic ear protection and eye protection is provided.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held on Range 1 at Topton Fish & Game Association, 26 Tina Lane, Mertztown, PA.
What is the cost?
This 2-hour class is $185. Fee includes gun rental, gear, ammo and range and guest fees.
