Bill Drill
The Bill Drill is probably my favorite drill. It’s a great test of grip and vision. And there are endless variations to change things up, keep it interesting and add complexity. Yesterday I was running different variations adding distance and movement. Changing up the distance gives me a chance to work on throttle control with my current skill set — intentionally adjusting the speed at which I engage a target based on different parameters, like size, distance and risk. What today’s practice confirmed: I can consistently hold the A zone at 7 yds with splits in the high .20s. Ran this in 3.39. Still need to work on being quicker and more efficient with my draw.
