Review of gun safety and range etiquette. Considerations for pistol selection, including caliber, semi auto pistol vs. revolver, handgun sizes, safeties, sighting systems, carry positions and holster options.

Live fire with a variety of pistols suitable for sport, self-defense and CCW, including 9mm Glock 19 Gen 5 & 43x, S&W M&P 2.0 Compact, Sig Sauer P365, Ruger Mark IV .22 and S&W J Frame .38 Special.

Introduction to stance, grip and aiming. You’ll be hands-on with the guns, shooting a minimum of 75 rounds, running basic marksmanship drills focused on getting comfortable and shooting accurately at 5 yards.

You’ll gain practical experience and come away with a realistic understanding of the practice and discipline needed to learn how to be safe with a gun and shoot with confidence and competence.

How long is the class?
This 3-hour group workshop starts with a review of gun safety and range etiquette and moves immediately to the range.
Do I need my own gun?
No, I provide a selection of subcompact and compact handguns for students to try, including 9mm, .22 and .38 caliber.
Should I bring ammo?
Do not bring any ammunition. Included in class fee is 75 rounds of ammo (9mm, .22 and .38 caliber) for each student.
What gear do I need?
No gear is needed. Ear protection and eye protection are provided.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held outdoors at the Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club (LCPCPC), 1855 Russell Road, Lebanon, PA.
What is the cost?
This 3-hour group workshop is $125 per person and capped at 5 people. Cost includes gun rental, gear, ammo & range fee.
